Does Fight Club have a post-credit scene?

Nothing after the credits, and nothing buried inside them. David Fincher lets the crawl run clean out of the Pixies' Where Is My Mind?, which carries over the demolition shot and simply plays itself out.

The stinger, such as it is, arrives about two seconds too early to qualify. In the final moments before the cut to black, a splice of pornography flashes through the image — two frames long, per IMDb's crazy-credits log, alongside the four single-frame inserts of Tyler scattered earlier in the film. It is precisely the vandalism Tyler describes committing on family pictures in his projectionist job, turned on the audience watching Fight Club, and it is the last thing the film does before it stops speaking to you. At speed it registers as a smear of colour; frame-step it and the joke lands.

There was never a sequel to set up. Chuck Palahniuk eventually continued the story in comics, but Fincher's film closes on its two characters holding hands while the credit-card towers come down, and no cut of it gestures at what happens next. The thing that behaves most like hidden after-the-fact content lives on home video instead: the original DVD replaced its anti-piracy warning screen with a Tyler Durden rant about the futility of reading fine print, a gag more people have quoted than have ever caught in a cinema.

One footnote for completists. In January 2022 the Chinese streaming release swapped the ending outright for a title card explaining that the authorities foiled the plan and Tyler was committed, cutting the demolition entirely. The uncut ending was restored shortly afterward following the backlash — which makes the original final frames, briefly, the most contested twelve seconds in the film's history.
