Does Soul have a post-credit scene?

Yes, Soul has a post-credits scene, and it is roughly five seconds long.

Once the credits have finished, Terry — the abstract, permanently aggrieved accountant responsible for making sure the count of souls balances — appears on screen, addresses the camera directly and tells you the movie is over and you should go home. That is the entire scene. There is no story content, no sequel setup and no additional information about Joe or 22.

It works because of who is delivering it. Terry spends the film obsessing over one thing: that something is where it should not be, and the numbers do not add up until it is dealt with. The film ends and you are still sitting there. From Terry's point of view you are an unresolved discrepancy, and getting rid of you is simply the job.

The gag has a clear ancestor. Ferris Bueller's Day Off (1986) famously ends with Ferris emerging after the credits to tell the audience that the film is over and to go home, and Terry's line is doing the same fourth-wall work. Pixar had never closed a film this way before.

The credits themselves are also worth a look: they run over a stylised sequence rather than a plain roll, and the soundtrack keeps Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross's Great Before score and Jon Batiste's jazz cues going.
