Does Spider-Man: No Way Home have a post-credit scene?

Two scenes — one mid-credits, one after the final card — and the second one is different depending on which release you watched.

The mid-credits scene lands a few minutes into the roll. Eddie Brock is at a beachfront bar somewhere warm, several drinks deep, being patiently briefed on this universe by a bartender: the billionaire in the metal suit, the green rage monster, the purple alien who collected stones. Eddie concludes that the obvious next move is to fly to New York and introduce himself to Peter Parker — and at that precise moment Strange's corrective spell fires and pulls every multiversal visitor home. Eddie vanishes mid-sentence. What stays behind, glistening on the bar top, is a small pool of the symbiote, twitching.

That fragment is the whole point of the scene. Sony's Venom films and the MCU had been circling one another for years, and this is the first physical object to cross between them; Venom: The Last Dance builds its plot around that residue.

The second scene, in the original December 2021 theatrical run, is not a scene at all but a full teaser for Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, capped with a "Doctor Strange will be back" card — the studio drawing the causal line from Peter's broken spell to Wanda's rampage as explicitly as it could without dialogue.

This is where the version matters. When Sony reissued the film in September 2022 as The More Fun Stuff Version, the trailer was gone, for the obvious reason that the sequel had been in cinemas for months, and a new post-credits scene replaced it: Betty Brant hosting a segment of her Midtown News show, running a cheerful photo montage of the senior class including the Europe trip from Far From Home. Peter is absent from every picture but one, where his face happens to be turned away. It is a quiet, cruel little scene, and it is the only place in either cut where the film shows you what the spell actually cost him.

Stay for both. If you have a choice of versions, the extended one has the sadder and better ending.
