Does Weapons have a post-credit scene?

Zach Cregger has been direct about why: he wanted the film to work as a self-contained experience, with the last act's imagery still sitting on you in the car park rather than dissolved by a wink. It is the right call structurally. The film has already spent two hours withholding and re-explaining the same 2:17 a.m. from one character's vantage after another; a teaser would have been one more chapter, and the only one that meant nothing.

The closing sequence does a stinger's job anyway. The storybook narration that opened the film comes back to close it, and the last shot resolves the question the whole movie is built around without over-explaining it — the correct trade for a film this committed to withheld information. Nothing plays over the credits but score.

This is worth stating plainly, because a follow-up genuinely is moving at New Line, reported to centre on Gladys and with Cregger involved. Audiences went in expecting to find the announcement buried after the credits. It is not there — no logo card, no date, no last shot of a certain house. Whatever that project becomes, it was not planted in this movie.

So the practical answer: once Cregger's name clears the screen you have seen everything Weapons has. The rewatch value here is entirely front-loaded — the whiteboard, the engraved bell, the timestamp itself, the triangle hidden in the O of the title card — and none of it is waiting at the back.
