Does Predator: Badlands have a post-credit scene?

There is no post-credits scene and no mid-credits scene in Predator: Badlands — but the sequel tease you would be waiting for has already happened by the time the crawl starts, so the risk here is leaving too early, not too late.

The final sequence, back on Yautja Prime with Dek, Thia and the baby Kalisk, ends on a shape rising over the horizon: an enormous vessel, unmistakably a warship, closing on their position. Thia asks whether these are more friends of his. Dek's answer is that it is his mother. Cut to credits.

That is Dan Trachtenberg placing his next antagonist in frame without spending a stinger on it, and it matches how he has handled the franchise elsewhere — Predator: Killer of Killers also front-loaded its forward-looking material into the closing minutes rather than parking it after the crawl. Given that Dek spends this entire film being measured against a clan that treats him as disposable, a mother arriving in a capital ship is not a cameo. It is a verdict pending.

The ship itself rewards a freeze-frame. Its silhouette echoes the vessels seen in Killer of Killers, tying the animated film's continuity to the live-action one more firmly than any line of dialogue in either does.

Once the credits begin there is genuinely nothing left — no trailer, no title card, no hidden audio sting. What you would be staying for is the music: the Sarah Schachner and Benjamin Wallfisch score, which uses the end titles to restate the Yautja material the film has been assembling since the opening Codex card. That is a defensible reason to sit, and it is the only one on offer. Twentieth Century Studios released Badlands in November 2025 without a stinger and without pretending otherwise, which — in a franchise now juggling live-action, animation and an explicit Weyland-Yutani crossover — is a fairly striking show of restraint.
