Does The Super Mario Bros. Movie have a post-credit scene?

Two, and they sit at opposite ends of the crawl, so catching both means staying for all of it.

Mid-credits, the film checks back in on its villain. Bowser is still shrunk to keychain size after the finale and has been installed in a small cage inside Peach's castle, complete with a piano scaled to fit him. He picks the melody back up — a slower, wounded reprise of "Peaches", the power ballad Jack Black delivers midway through the film — until a guard tells him to knock it off. It is the only real epilogue any character gets.

The post-credits scene arrives after the last name and lasts a few seconds: a slow push down a Brooklyn sewer pipe to a white egg with green spots, a hairline crack forming, and a "Yoshi!" landing over the cut to black. The good part is that the egg was not placed there for the sting. It is visible earlier in the film on the gift table at Bowser's wedding, and it gets dragged through the warp pipe along with everything else when the Mushroom Kingdom spills into New York — so the tease is a continuity payoff rather than a bolt-on.

It also paid off faster than most. Yoshi, voiced by Donald Glover, arrived properly in The Super Mario Galaxy Movie on April 1, 2026, first glimpsed in that film's second trailer. Illumination has kept the habit going too: Galaxy carries two credits scenes of its own, one of which finally introduces Princess Daisy.
