Does Zootopia have a post-credit scene?
2016 · Byron Howard, Rich Moore, Jared Bush · 109 min
The answer
No post-credit scene
No stinger. Gazelle's "Try Everything" concert plays over the first stretch of the credits — with Bellwether watching from jail as her fellow inmates dance — and once the scroll ends, that's it. The sequel, Zootopia 2 (2025), is the one with a true post-credits scene.

What plays over the credits instead
No stinger. Zootopia has no mid-credits or post-credits scene, and its last piece of story arrives before the credits begin: Judy and Nick, now partners, pulling over a street racer tearing through Savanna Central, the window rolling down to reveal Flash behind the wheel of a very fast car. That is the film's best joke and also its final one.
What follows is not nothing. The first stretch of the credits is a fully animated sequence — Gazelle's victory concert in Savanna Central, staged for what appears to be the entire city, celebrating the recovered missing mammals and the collapse of the night howler conspiracy. Shakira's "Try Everything" plays in full, the credits scroll on the jumbotrons flanking the stage, and the animators use the crowd to close out running gags, Flash slow-dancing with Priscilla among them. Bellwether gets the sourest button in the picture: she watches the concert on a television in prison while her fellow inmates clap along, entirely unbothered by her presence.
Once the concert finishes and the technical crawl takes over, that is genuinely it. Nothing plays after the Disney logo.
The confusion is almost always a franchise mix-up. Zootopia 2, released in November 2025, does have a proper post-credits scene, and a large share of the traffic asking whether Zootopia has one is really asking about the sequel. The 2016 original predates Walt Disney Animation Studios' more recent habit of tagging its films, and it did not need the device — the ending resolves Judy's arc, Nick's arc and the conspiracy inside a single scene, then hands the last few minutes over to a pop song and a city dancing.
Worth staying for the concert, which is animated rather than a static card and contains character beats you will not find anywhere else in the film. Not worth staying past it.

The sequel, Zootopia 2 (2025), is the one with a true post-credits scene.
