Colour-Coded Fate
A costume or lighting palette assigned to a character that tracks what is coming for them — a colour introduced only when they are doomed, drained from the frame once they are safe, or reserved for a single object in an otherwise desaturated world. Colour scripts make this a documented department decision rather than a viewer's pattern-matching, so the strong instances can be traced to an art book, a cinematographer interview or a published palette.
